Nick is a Ph.D. student in the Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychology program at Rice University in Houston, Texas. He currently works with Dr. Danielle King in the WorKing Resilience lab. Broadly, his research interests include work motivation and humanitarian work psychology. Nick was selected as an Honorable Mention for the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program in 2024.
He graduated from Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University with bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Labor and Human Resources. During his time at Penn State, he worked in the Contextual Analysis and Situational Assessment laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Rustin Meyer. As an undergraduate, he also received funding to support Dr. Kristina Potocnik (University of Edinburgh Business School) and Dr. Forrest Briscoe (Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State) on research projects related to creativity/innovation in the workplace and employee benefits, respectively. |
